Our Mission
The New Health Chiropractic was founded in 2013 with a clear mission to raise the energy of the environment and create an office that feels fun, welcoming, and educational. We take time to understand each patient’s concerns, do a detailed evaluation, and explain what is going on in a clear way. Our goal is to help patients understand both the problem and the plan.
Many people come to our office after trying other options and still not feeling like they have real answers. We focus on the spine, the nervous system, and how the body is functioning as a whole. Care may include chiropractic adjustments, digital nerve scans, X-rays, and supportive therapies based on the patient’s needs. We are not just looking at symptoms. We are looking at how stress on the spine can affect how people move, sleep, breathe, and function.
Our Story
Dr. Jamie Mahtaban founded Elite Chiropractic Beverly Hills in 2013, building the practice from scratch with no advertising. His path into chiropractic care was deeply personal. As a high school athlete playing football and basketball, he sustained injuries that went untreated for years. By college, his back pain was severe enough that he had to take a year and a half off, and Western medicine had little to offer him beyond pills and injections.
A turning point came at a college health fair, where he met a chiropractor who explained what was happening in his spine. No provider had ever done that before. That conversation redirected his career.
Within the first five years of opening, the practice had grown enough to bring on an associate doctor, and additional staff followed shortly after. More than twelve years later, Elite Chiropractic Beverly Hills continues to grow, shaped by the same philosophy of listening, diagnosing, and treating the whole person.
Dr. Jamie Mahtaban, DC
Dr. Jamie Mahtaban, DC is the founder of Elite Chiropractic Beverly Hills with more than twelve years in practice. A graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, he specializes in chronic and complex pain cases, blending chiropractic adjustments with myofascial release, muscle release technique (MRT), cupping, postural assessment, rehabilitation, and spinal decompression therapy.
Dr. Yuliya Gruppina, DC
Dr Yuliya Gruppina, DC is a dual-licensed chiropractor and acupuncturist who completed both doctoral programs concurrently. RockTape certified, she combines diversified and activator adjusting with Gonstead technique, Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT) blocking, trigger point work, and kinesio therapy, and cares for athletes, prenatal patients, and pediatric patients including newborns.
